Our ‘Go for Green’ service helps, encourages and enables local folk to get out and about, exploring all that Edinburgh and its surroundings have to offer whilst improving their health and making new friendships and connections.

“Parks and greenspaces are amazing places at the heart of our communities. They give us breathing spaces where we can take time out from the stresses of our everyday lives, places where we can relax and spend time with family and friends, and spaces where nature can flourish in the heart of our towns and cities. Local greenspaces make a huge contribution to our health, our quality of life and our community spirit.” Greenspace Scotland 2023

What we offer:

Read On!

Books were a life saver for many people over lock down and reading can help us put aside our worries and escape to another world for a while. When you read a good book - isn't it great to talk about it with a friend - compare notes, share a laugh, or a tear? This monthly group will encourage you to try different kinds of books that you might not otherwise have thought of reading. If you are not currently a reader this is a great way to start. A small, friendly, on-line group, the books are provided by Health All Round so there is absolutely no cost attached.
