Active Steps aims to support people living in South West Edinburgh to become more physically active and maintain a healthy diet long term. We will help you to make small changes in your everyday routines that will set you on track for a healthier lifestyle. We offer some gentle exercise classes suitable for people with mobility issues and those new or returning to exercise. Classes include chair-based exercise, indoor and outdoor circuits, a walking group and seated yoga. We can offer support in a gym environment. We also run regular healthy lifestyle groups which have the added benefit of peer support.
Who can benefit?
Leading a healthier lifestyle, including being more active and eating a healthier diet is a positive step for everyone and we know that these are behaviours that also have a positive impact on mental well being.
